			Shockwaves website - 2006 To further connect with the target audience Shockwaves sponsored the 2006 NME Music Awards. We publicised this on the website by running a competition to find the world's best unsigned music act. Over 1000 hopefuls uploaded their songs to the site where visitors could rate them and an independent expert would choose a monthly winner.
